First, make sure to setup the Remote Print feature with Splashtop.
Normally, the Splashtop Remote Printer is added and removed for each remote connection. If you want to setup the Splashtop Remote Printer option as the default printer on the remote computer, here are some steps:
- On the Windows host computer (streamer), remove these files. These files prevent the Splashtop Remote Printer option from getting removed:
-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\Driver\STPrinter\p_unmount.bat
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\Driver\STPrinter\p_unmount_x64.bat
-
- Then, setup "Splashtop Remote Printer" as the default printer.
