Security

The Web app follows the security settings on Streamers such as OS credentials, security code, and request permissions.

The Web app follows the Access Control configurations from the Web Console and On-Prem app.

Limitations:

  • Watermark protection is not supported. You need to disable watermark protection when using the Web app.
  • The Web app is not supported by Streamers or SOS running on Windows 7/XP/Vista and macOS 10.10 or lower.
  • While in a Web app session, you can only establish multiple sessions from the same web browser. Each additional remote session initiated from the same web browser will appear in its own tab. (Attempting to start another session from a separate incognito web browser, another web browser, or the On-Prem app with the same account will result in a connection error.)
  • If an active session already exists from the On-Prem app, and another user attempts to connect to the same streamer(Windows or Android streamer) using the Web app, a connection error will occur.
