The Splashtop watermark feature is a great way to secure and protect confidential information during remote sessions. (This feature provides granular control at the account level.)
With just a few simple steps, you can easily customize the watermark's content and style, and apply it to any new or pre-existing remote computers.
Configuration
1. Log in to Gateway and navigate to Settings -> Team settings to enable and configure your watermark protection.

2. Enable watermark protection or click the "Detailed settings" hyperlink to customize the content and style.
3. There are several options available for configuration:
a. Content
b. Font Size
c. Font Color and Outline Color
d. Font Opacity and Outline Opacity
e. Density
4. Check the effects using the preview area. Once you have finished customizing the details, click Save.
5. Launch the On-Prem app and try to establish a session, you will see the watermark displayed on your device.
Limitations
- Please note that the watermark will not be applied to the videos when using the session recording feature. Therefore, we strongly recommend disabling session recording if you want to use the watermark to secure sensitive data.
- Watermark protection is not supported on On-Prem app running on Windows XP/Vista OS/Server 2003/Server 2008.
- Customizing the watermark text requires On-Prem app v3.4.8.0 or above.
- Customizing the font style and layout requires On-Prem app v3.5.8.3 or above.
