Blank screen is a feature that when a computer is remotely controlled by other devices, its screen monitor turns black. This feature prevents others from seeing the screen while you are working remotely in this computer, so that your privacy is well protected.
The DPMS method of blank screen only works when the WDDM driver of the Streamer PC is not higher than 2.2.
To check the version of the WDDM driver, open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by entering "dxdiag" in Windows Run dialog or Search box. Under each Display tab, you can find the Driver Model with WDDM version.
This article consists of 2 sections:
- Enable Blank Screen
- Install DPMS Driver
