In addition to remote control of PC and Mac, remote access to Android devices and remote control of certain Android platforms is supported by Splashtop On-Prem. You can remote control the Android devices to help Android users configure their devices or train users on how to use them.
1. Scenarios
1.1 Unattended remote support
In unattended remote support usage scenario, technician may remote into the Android device without interaction of user at the device side. (Certain access permissions can be configured upon connection)
On the device side, an Agent needs to be deployed to enable this.
1.2 Attended remote support (coming soon)
In attended remote support scenario, when user at device side needs technician's help, he/she can run an app, the app will generate a 9-digit session code, inform technician the 9-digit session code, the technician then connects to device side with the 9-digit session code.
