Best practice to upgrade Splashtop Gateway

 Upgrade to Gateway v3.28.x

- Gateway versions lower than v3.20.x do NOT support direct upgrade to v3.28.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway stays at v3.18.x, please upgrade to v3.24.x then to v3.28.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway is lower than v3.18.x, please refer to the upgrade path below.

 

Upgrade to Gateway v3.26.x

- Gateway versions lower than v3.18.x do NOT support direct upgrade to v3.26.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway stays at v3.16.x, please upgrade to v3.24.x then to v3.26.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway is lower than v3.16.x, please refer to the upgrade path below.

 

Upgrade to Gateway v3.24.x

- Gateway versions lower than v3.16.x do NOT support direct upgrade to v3.24.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway stays at v3.14.x, please upgrade to v3.20.x then to v3.24.x.
- If your Splashtop Gateway is lower than v3.14.x, please refer to the upgrade path below.
